100 years of craft.
A new way of tea.

Founded in 1917 during the Taisho era, Harada Tea has walked hand in hand with Japanese tea for over a century. Drawing on our expertise and experience as a tea manufacturer, we manage a wide range of operations—from cultivating tea leaves on one of Japan’s largest company-owned tea plantations, to processing and sales, and even offering proposals that align with various lifestyle needs, such as gifts and funeral services. Rather than being a beverage of convenience, we strive to make tea something people truly want to drink. We continuously take on the challenge of creating new ways to enjoy tea and redefining its value in step with the times.

As Japanese agriculture faces serious challenges—including abandoned farmland and an aging producer population—we are actively working on initiatives that look toward the future of regional farming, such as land revitalization and support for elderly growers. Tea is not just a beverage; it is a vital part of Japanese culture and daily life. Passing on this tradition and craftsmanship to future generations, and doing so in a sustainable way, is our mission.

Even as globalization progresses, we remain committed to delivering the authentic taste and quality nurtured by Japan’s unique natural environment. We have expanded our distribution channels into overseas markets, especially across Asia. With reliable, tradition-rooted techniques and a spirit of innovation, we will continue to boldly shape the future of tea culture.
